Tamta Japaridze

My name is Tamta Japaridze. I am 22 years old from Tbilisi, Georgia. I finished Tbilisi State University before coming here and my profession is journalism and masscommunications. In my country I worked as a PR and social media manager at a publishing house, but I have always wanted to live abroad for a while, get a new experience and share my knowledge. So, I decided to make EVS and I tried to find media project. That's how I got here, in Romania.
My project is about Radio. Me and my partner, Heni, are trying to have our show about youth, volunteering and other interesting topics. Also, I'm helping to our association to manage website and facebook page.
I really enjoy being here. In my free time I try to travel and discover Romania with my new friends. Besides travelling my hobby is to write blog about my experience and feelings.
Suzanne Darras

My name is Suzanne and I come from Champs-romain, a little village in France. I was nineteen years old when I decided to make EVS, in order to improve my knowledge and to bring my skills to an association.
Before coming to Romania, I finished my studies like Social Worker ( in animation, we learned how create an association, a project…) and I often worked in environmental association. (Le tri-Cycle enchanté, organization who fights against waste, and try to recycle most things, and awaken consciences to this practice.)
So, I came here in order to work in the “workshop activity” in partnership with Zsuzsanna. Also, Romania was for me a very attractive country, both landscapes than native population. I think there is a lot of work in terms of recycling in this country, and I will be happy if we can contribute to this change.
Ruta Ona Marija Kuzminskaite

My name is Ruta I was attracted to Romania, to fantastic region of Transylvania and finally to ATA in particular by Attila's, the key person in this organisation, contact. I have found the opportunity to start a community radio - that was a great offer! Having some working experience with community radios in developing world I found the offer fascinating.
Attila is great with words, so to say! He managed to put together a nice description of all variety of activities that can be implemented in Cristuru Secuiesc. Well done! We are all here, doing what we can to make this place better.
Myself, as an active social enterprise implementer, I would like to use my time here to get this lovely youth organisation up and running on a international level.
With some skills, patience and time this will become possible not because with all of us working together as a team. I will do my best to bring more funds and resources to this lovely area.

Before I decided to do volunteer work I studied communication. I chose this project because I would like to get new experiences and I'm also interested in media. I love making new friends and cats.
Varga Zsuzsanna

My name is Varga Zsuzsanna, from Hungary, 26... I was born in Siófok, it is a city near the lake Balaton. I havea big family, a lot of siblings. I'm a graphic designer, I learned in Budapest. My hobbies are painting and creative activities. I work here with a French girl Suzanne, in the Upcycling project. We make workshops for children every week. I would like to help and teach something useful to Hungarian people who live here.
Arpine Hakobyan

Hello, I’m Arpine, I’m 27. I’m from Armenia and came to Romania at september of 2013 for EVS in ATA. This is TV project, and so why I chosen specially this project and I’m glad that I was chosen from association too. In my project we are 2, and we are creating videos about events what happening in our city, about our life and projects of our association. And also we created new website - http://keresztur.info/, where we upload all information about our city and also our works.
We live in the city Cristuru Secuiesc, but often travelling round the country. Traveling – it was my second reason, why I decided to do EVS and more know about the other countries, their culture. Beside my mine project I’ll have also my own project. Dance group – this was the first idea, which came to my mind, because I danced long time, and why not – I can teach Armenian dances everyone who would like to.
EVS also give me chance to have real friends from different countries and discover the world.
