Looking for 12 EVS volunteers
The Youth Association from Transylvania - an NGO from Cristuru Secuiesc, ROMANIA - is looking for 12 EVS volunteers aged 18 to 30, from the countries of the European Union. Activities would start in the first week of August or September 2015, lasting 9 to 12 months.
Youth Exchange "Cartoonistas", Thassos
"Cartoonistas” was a creative project which will involved 30 young people from 6 European countries, Italy, Turkey, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece, with different geographical and cultural backgrounds. The artistic and educational program, was held in Thasos island Greece for ten days in November.
SEASIDE - Youth Exchange
The youth exchange entitled SEASIDE - Save the Earth, Act and Stop Individuals from Damaging Environment! took place in Eforie Sud between the 14th and the 22nd of September 2014. and involved 30 youngsters coming from 5 different East and West-European countries: Romania, Greece, Spain, Italy and Hungary.
Grundtvig Workshop “Strategies and Methodologies for Illiteracy Eradication (SMILE)”
Between the 2nd to the 8th of December 2013, the Youth Association from Transylvania organized the Grundtvig Workshop “Strategies and Methodologies for Illiteracy Eradication (SMILE)”. A group of ten people from European countries met in Sighisoara, Romania to see the reality about illiteracy in different countries (in European context) and to make suggestions for the development in the strategies being used.

Grundtvig Workshop in Sighisoara
The Youth Association from Transylvania will organize their first Grundtvig Workshop in Sighisoara, between 2 to 8 December 2013. They will involve 3 adults from Romania and 10 adults from the EU. The workshop entitled Strategies and Methodologies for Illiteracy Eradication (acronym SMILE) will be held in Pension Baron next to the Coach station (Liberty Street No 70) and is funded by the "Lifelong Learning" Programme of the European Commission.

I’m Neslinur Turan, and come fromTurkey. I’m 24 years old. I graduated from department of international relations from Eskişehir Osmangazi University. Than, I accepted for master degree in Trakya Universityand I frozen registration for my Evs's year. My hobbies are cooking, swimming, photo-making, drawing comics, traveling, learning and trying new things. I’m one of the volunteer here and my voluntery job is about recycling and upcycling which makes the life better place without disturbing it. We are collecting rubbishes to use them for our upcycling projects.
I decided to come here when I was in Udvarhely for a week in the youthproject. I would like to come here to change something in my life; and speak Hungarian and learn more which I really interested in. In addition to this, learning different culture and learning reclycling and upcycling made me happy to come here. My feeling is really nice to be here, because there are a lot of hills,and this town has lovely nature which makes me excited. The Evs is one time in my life that I will not forget, and I’m sure about my decision which is good and right for me.
Anja Masleša
My name is Anja Masleša, I am 20 years old and I come from Slovenia. At home I was studying classical philology (Latin & Old Greek), but currently I'm a EVS volunteer in Cristuru Secuiesc. My work here is in the kindergarten, playing, teaching, enjoying the life and give the best possible love and affection to the children, since the world will need great new persons who will build the world after we are gone. My main goal is to teach them to value the Nature, respect it and work with it. World is connected and whatever happens on one side of the planet, will affect the other side as well. I want to shared this with the children and that's why I decided to come here. The other goal is to teacht hem to value art and culture, that's why I decided, that we should paint, sing, dance, create every day.
Palla Csilla
My name’s Csilla Palla. I am 22 years old, and I finished university in this year. I learned a buddhism, japanese language and culture in the Dharma Gate Buddhist College. I didn’t really work yet in my country, only I did student work. But if I go back, maybe I will work in my city’s castle than princess. I’am actor. ;) I have chosen EVS, because this job was always my dreams job, and I love Transylvania! My activity is in Romania that I make every day a keresztúr.info website. And I will also make some news videos about the city. I spread the news in town. And I search the programs and stories and make interviews with the organizers and I write that stories in an article.
