URGENT! Looking for one EVS volunteer from GREECE!
The Youth Association from Transylvania - an NGO from Cristuru Secuiesc, ROMANIA - is looking for one EVS volunteer aged 17 to 30, from Greece. The activity would start in the first week of February 2016, lasting 10 months. You will join 4 EVS volunteers coming from Spain and Hungary.
Rural tourism - touristic strategies for sustainable development
Between 3 and 11 July we organized a youth exchange in Cristuru Secuiesc with the participation of 35 youngsters from Romania, France, Belgium, Slovenia and Slovakia. The mobility was funded by the European Union. After two introductory days the participants started visiting villages around Cristuru Secuiesc in order to identify their actual touristic endowments, strengths and weaknesses. During the afternoons the youngsters developed personalized touristic strategies for these villages. By developing these plans the participants got aware of many touristic possibilities and perspectives which could ensure them a source of living. These touristic ideas could help these small communities to get more attractive for tourists, to improve their social - economic situation and to reach a sustainable development.
Finished "The 16th International Meeting of Settlements Named 'Keresztúr'"
The town twinning event organized by our association and the local government ended and during the four-day event more than 10,000 people visited it. The event was supported and mad possible by the European Union and we would like to thank all the inhabitants of Székelykeresztúr for their contributed to the success of the event.

DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT FOR TRANSYLVANIA, the 18 month, long term EVS project which has the Reference Number RO-21-106-2013-R2 has ended. All the volunteers left home and we are now in the evaluation and dissemination phase. Through this article we present the summary of the activities done by Suzanne and Zsuzsi who did recycling and up-cycling activities.
