Specifically, the project’s objective is to introduce Digital Storytelling, an innovative methodology in non-formal education/youth work/higher education for capacity building of youth and youth organizations in 4 European countries and Benin. The project also aims to
- improve job counselling and talent management services by digital storytelling;
- secure mobility and build new capacities for youth, youth workers, other professionals becoming multipliers in Europe and Benin;
- foster long term connections and networking on inter-sectorial, local and European/global level;
- empower youth by learning digital storytelling, by gaining self-understanding and experience in working with foreign peers/teams and learning active participation/sharing;
- set up on-line, open source digital storytelling methodological ‘center’ and community.
The project beneficiaries are NGOs and youth organisations (18-30 years), trainers, educational organisations and European networks and policymakers at all levels from 4 European countries (Hungary, Romania, Italy and UK) and one extra-European country (Benin).
The project activities include two training courses, the creation of participants’ digital stories, the production of digital storytelling guidelines, and a platform dedicated to digital storytelling with materials and open source documents available online.
The project partners are Anthropolis Antropologiai Közhasznú Egyesület (Hungary), Asociatia de Tineri Din Ardeal (Romania), Centre Régional de Recherche et d’Education pour un Développement (Benin), Melting Pro (Italy) and Global Link Lancaster Ltd (UK).
